If you're lucky enough to crack open a Hinterland Pale Ale and find a gold lid, you've just scored one of the most legendary prizes we've ever given away:

Your height in beer.

That's right. Measure up, and we'll stack the beers until they match your height. Whether you're 160cm or pushing 2 metres, we're paying out in cold, delicious Brouhaha beer.

How It Works

  1. Purchase a Brouhaha Hinterland Pale Ale.
  2. Check under the lid.
  3. Find a Golden Lid.
  4. Hold onto it and contact us to claim your prize.
  5. We'll verify your Golden Lid and arrange your official height measurement.
  6. Collect your beer bounty.

Competition Details

  • 10 Golden Lids have been randomly distributed throughout eligible Hinterland Pale Ale stock.
  • Each Golden Lid entitles the holder to one "height in beer" prize.
  • Winners must be 18 years or older.
  • Proof of age and the original Golden Lid are required to claim.
  • Prize quantities will be calculated based on the winner's measured height and the dimensions of the awarded beer packaging.

Brouhaha Brewery's Golden Ticket Promotion – Terms & Conditions 

Win Your Height in Beer 

Promoter 

The promoter is Brouhaha Brewery Pty Ltd ("the Promoter"), ABN 19 608 766 356 

, located at 1 Edison Cres, Baringa QLD 4551. 

Promotional Period 

The promotion commences at 3rd August 2026 and closes 30th December 2026. Entries received outside this period will not be accepted. 

Eligibility 

  • Entry is open to Australian residents aged 18 years or over.  

  • Valid photo identification must be provided when claiming the prize.  

  • Employees of Brouhaha Brewery and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.  

How to Enter 

During the promotional period: 

  • Purchase any eligible product to receive one (1) Golden Ticket entry.  

  • If you find a Golden Lid follow the redemption instructions using the QR code on promotional material.  

  • Only genuine Golden Lids issued by Brouhaha Brewery will be accepted.  

Prize 

One (1) winner(10 chances to WIN) will receive their height in beer. 

The prize consists of: 

  • A quantity of Brouhaha Brewery beer equal to the winner's height when measured in centimetres.  

  • Cartons stacked to  the winner's height.  

  • Example: A person measuring 182cm will receive 13 Cartons.  

  • Total prize value will vary depending on the winner's height.  

The Promoter reserves the right to substitute products with equivalent Brouhaha Brewery products if necessary. 

Winner Verification 

  • The winner's height will be measured by a Brouhaha Brewery representative while the winner is wearing flat shoes or no shoes.  

  • The Promoter's measurement is final.  

Prize Collection 

  • The prize must be collected from Brouhaha Brewery Baringa.  

  • Golden Lid Can to be handed over at time of redemption. 

  • The winner must claim their prize by 30th December 2026. 

  • Any unclaimed prize may be forfeited.  

Responsible Service of Alcohol 

  • Alcohol will only be supplied to persons aged 18 years or over.  

  • The Promoter supports the responsible service and consumption of alcohol.  

  • The prize will not be awarded if doing so would breach any liquor licensing laws.  

General Conditions 

  • The prize is not transferable, exchangeable or redeemable for cash.  

  • Lost, damaged or stolen Golden Lids will not be replaced.  

  • Any fraudulent or tampered entries will be deemed invalid.  

  • The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of all claims.  

Liability 

Except where prohibited by law, the Promoter accepts no responsibility for: 

  • lost or damaged Golden Lids;  

  • technical issues affecting the promotion;  

  • any injury, loss or damage arising from participation in the promotion or acceptance of the prize.  

Nothing in these Terms excludes any rights under the Australian Consumer Law. 

Privacy 

Any personal information collected will be used solely for administering this promotion and handled in accordance with the Promoter's Privacy Policy. 

Changes to the Promotion 

The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the promotion where necessary due to circumstances beyond its reasonable control, subject to any applicable laws. 

Permit Information 

If required under Australian state or territory laws, the promotion will be conducted under the relevant trade promotion permit(s).
