Current Positions - February 2024
We have a new management team in place at Brouhaha Maleny and they the plan is to take the venue to another level. The British style gastropub will offer something different to the hinterland. Simple classics, using the best local ingredients, alongside dishes that are a little different to the norm. We will also have a separate pizza take away shop offering a small but perfectly formed menu making Neapolitan pizza featuring that local produce again.
Wednesday - Sunday for Lunch
Thursday - Saturday for Dinner
We are on the look out for people to fill the following roles:
Pizza and pastry chef.
20-30 hrs per week
This role involves the correct candidate to oversee the making and operating of our 72 hour fermented pizza dough for our take away pizza shop. Other duties include working alongside the restaurant team to create show stopping desserts and bread.
Sous Chef - Full time
Do you have the passion for utilising produce, sourcing new local artisan producers to feature on our seasonally changing menu? If so, this could be the role for you. Offering a four day week roster we aim to help our team flourish while not burning them out. Three days off in a row or a 2-1 split day roster can be discussed for the correct candidate.
This along side a competitive salary makes this a favourable role.
You will work closely with our Head chef/owner to curate a menu that complements the amazing Brouhaha beer. Future growth in this role is massive with the possibility of outside catering, more venues and events.
Front of house 2IC
Part Time 30-40 hours per week
This role is perfect for someone with experience in a supervisory level in a busy venue. Working closely with the owners you will be able to motivate a talented team and be on board with everything Brouhaha.
Training on the knowledge of our beer, menu and ethos will be imperative for you to be able to give our customers the service we want.
A flexible roster is available for the correct candidate.
