Put Sunday 9 Feb into your calendar and get ready for one shell of a time! We are teaming up with The Finest Oyster to bring you Brouhaha’s Oyster Sunday!
On Sunday 9 Feb, the team from The Finest Oyster will be bringing a selection of oysters, flown in direct fresh from the rocks and shucked on-site at the brewery to pair with our selection of craft beers.
The pairing experience will include 9 oysters (3 different varieties) paired with 3 of our craft beers. You will get an introduction into the three beers that we have paired with the oysters from one of our staff and Paul from The Finest Oyster will then talk you through each variety of oyster, their region and how they are farmed.
For this tasting session, Paul has flown in 3 Moreton Bay Rock (Qld) to pair with our IPA, 3 Camden Haven Rock Oyster (NSW) to pair with our Strawberry Rhubarb Sour and 3 Barilla Bay Pacific Oysters (Tas) to pair with our Milk Stout!
We have done some preparatory research for this session (drinking beers and eating oyster) and we can tell you that it is a session not to be missed!! The pairing is fantastic and the oysters so fresh that it is closest you will get to eating them straight from the sea!
