This week kicks off Sunshine Coast’s very first The Curated Plate, a four-day destinations food festival, celebrating the relationship between Chef and Producer, the amazing local produce and the regions beautiful coastline and Hinterland.
We are so excited to be involved in not just one, but three events within The Curated Plate’s amazing line-up of tours, dinners, workshops and food fairs. Farm To Fork Tour
Thursday 8 Aug
Partnering with Creative Tours and Events, we are giving you behind the fence access to private farms and producers on the Sunshine Coast and giving you an insight into the skills, knowledge and effort that goes into farming some of the great produce that the Sunshine Coast has to offer.
You will stop off at three producers, Sunshine Coast Coffee Roasters, The Falls Farm and Maleny Wagyu, and get hands-on experience and a rarely seen insight into the stories of the farmers and roaster. The tour will finish at Brouhaha Brewery with a well deserved four-course beer paired degustation, that will utilise produce from the farms that you have visited throughout the tour. Brouhaha’s Head Brewer, Matt and Head Chef, James, will talk you through each meal and why each beer has been paired to each meal.
The Art of Beer and Food – GOMA Chef & Brouhaha Collab Degustation

We have opened our kitchen up to Matt Blackwell & Mike Bickford, the Chefs from Brisbane’s hatted GOMA Restaurant. Matt and Mike will bring their unique spin and talent into the microbrewery’s kitchen, incorporating Brouhaha’s and Head Chef, James’ ethos of local produce and sustainable cooking.
Together, Matt, Mike and James have created a one-off, five-course degustation with matching beers, that utilises the best of the Sunshine Coast’s incredible produce. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy Matt & Mike’s collaboration with Brouhaha – where a couple of Queensland’s finest chefs get into brewery-mode and offer you a relaxed night in The Art of Beer and Food.

Brouhaha Head Brewer’s Masterclass – The Curated Plate Food Fair

This is a great opportunity to step up you beer-nerd game and get an introduction into beer tasting and pairing. In this triple tasting masterclass, Brouhaha Brewery’s Head Brewer, Matt Jancauskas, will talk you through the flavours and story of the brewery, showcasing three of Brouhaha’s signature beers paired with Woombye cheese, Ten Acres Sourdough, Maleny Wagyu Pastrami, and finishing with a chocolate brownie.
